Byron/Highcroft/Athlone work to begin week of April 4

Many residents in the neighbourhood have now received the flyer about the upcoming road/sewer/water main renewal project that will happen over the next two years on Byron, Highcroft, and Athlone Avenues. For those who have not seen it, I am attaching it to this post.

In the meantime, we have received this update from the project manager, Stephen Gallagher, about the work that we can expect to start this coming week:

"For April, the Contractor is planning to commence (minor) works, starting with cut and caps on Byron next week. For this work, Byron Avenue from Churchill to Hillson will have some localized lane reductions during off-peak times to facilitate the crew and equipment. Signage will be in place and pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained."
