Iona-Broadhead-Helena Preliminary Design

In late February, we held a very productive open house on the upcoming Iona-Broadhead-Helena reconstruction project.

The work is necessary due to ageing infrastructure and will see the reconstruction of watermains, sewers, and roadways including sidewalks.

Preliminary designs were unveiled at the open house which was held Feb. 23 at the Fisher Park Community Centre. If you were unable to attend, you can see these plans attached below.

Tendering of the construction contract is expected to take place in spring of 2017 and construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in summer of 2017.

There will be another public consultation before construction begins. Be sure to watch this space for more details.
