Para Transpo consultations on eligibility and booking

I was pleased recently to be asked to serve on a sub-committee looking at how Para Transpo handles eligibility for its service, and its booking processes. Para Transpo Consulations:
OC Transpo is seeking feedback on Para Transpo eligibility policies and booking processes

Ottawa – OC Transpo is currently reviewing its policies for both Para Transpo customer eligibility and booking processes.

Public consultations will take place on September 17, 22, 30 and October 6 at Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West. There are a total of 16 sessions, four per day, with a registration limit of 20 people per session. Para Transpo customers, caregivers, community agencies, hospital representatives, long-term care facilities and the general public are invited to register.

Session details are as follows:

Thursday, September 17
• Eligibility – 10:30 a.m. to noon.
• Booking – 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Eligibility – 3:30 to 5 p.m. 
• Booking – 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Colonel By Room, second floor
Registration deadline: September 11

Tuesday, September 22
• Booking – 10:30 a.m. to noon
• Eligibility – 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Booking – 3:30 to 5 p.m. 
• Eligibility – 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Festival Boardroom, first floor
Registration deadline: September 17

Wednesday, September 30
• Eligibility – 10:30 a.m. to noon
• Booking – 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Eligibility – 3:30 to 5 p.m. 
• Booking – 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Colonel By Room, second floor
Registration deadline: September 24

Tuesday, October 6
• Booking – 10:30 a.m. to noon
• Eligibility – 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Booking – 3:30 to 5 p.m. 
• Eligibility – 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Colonel By Room, second floor
Registration deadline: September 30

Customers and stakeholders who are unavailable to attend a session, but still want to contribute, are invited to provide feedback between August 24 and October 9 by filling out a questionnaire available:

The questions posed in the questionnaire will be identical to those posed at the consultation sessions.
