LRT rail grinding to commence soon

Rail grinding is set to begin even as soon as this weekend on the LRT line - one of the potential mitigations for the elevated noise levels being experienced by some Mechanicsville and Hintonburg residents. Please click on the attached .pdf attached notice for more details.

I had the opportunity this morning to press our city manager about the LRT noise in this location, and continue to be confident that the City is taking this issue seriously, including incorporating lessons learned into Stage 2.
