87 Stirling - Zoning By-Law Amendment Application + Open House

A Zoning By-Law Amendment Application has been submitted for the property at 87 Stirling Ave, to permit a three-storey low-rise apartment dwelling with seven dwelling units. The site is currently occupied by a two and a half - storey duplex dwelling with a northern interior side yard parking space. The proposal seeks retain a portion of the existing building on-site and provide extension in height and in length of the building. A portion of the exterior brick walls will be re-cladded and maintained. New walls will be constructed in order to extend the building into the rear yard by an additional 2.5 metres and extend the building in height to allow for a third storey with a flat roof. There are two communal entrances that serve multiple units, and two private entrances. One vehicular parking space and seven bicycle parking spaces are proposed. Amenity space is provided in the rear yard and on balconies.
