Last fall, a day program opened at the Tom Brown Arena to offer respite services to people experiencing homelessness. When Covid 19 severely restricted available beds in overnight shelters due to distancing requirements, Tom Brown also began providing emergency shelter. This year’s rise in Omicron variant case numbers and the recent arrival of cold weather have again led to increased demand for assistance. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of passersby last year, and we would like to provide more support to the respite centre this year. In particular, we are hoping to gather the following NEW adult clothing items (Men's size M are most in demand):
