Welcome Tom Pechloff to Team Kitchissippi!

I'm very pleased to announce that we're bringing Tom Pechloff aboard at Team Kitchissippi as a new assistant. Tom will join us on June 24, with a full plate of issues to tackle from day one. First and foremost, he'll be working to move our traffic calming agenda forward. And, he'll have responsibility for most of my non-planning-related files, including transportation, environment, transit, community and protective services, and more. With his extensive background as a journalist with City Hall, I know he'll hit the ground running.

Tom brings 22 years of experience in the Ottawa media to Team Kitchissippi. After 20 years as a broadcaster for Rogers Radio (CHEZ 106, 1310News), Tom moved over to the Ottawa Business Journal where he has been the editor of online content since 2014. A classically-trained pianist, Tom is a veteran of the Ottawa music scene playing a wide range of styles over the years. Since 2009, he has handled keyboards and backup vocals for the Bushpilots. Tom, his partner Tania and two kids have called Kitchissippi home since 2012.
