Dear Resident,

The City of Ottawa invites you to attend a Public Information Session to present the drainage improvements planned in your community.

Why:         The planned work on Avondale Avenue and Duncairn Avenue is to address poor surface drainage and ponding issues.

What:       The planned work associated with Avondale Avenue includes a new storm sewer complete with new catchbasins and road re-grading. The planned work on Duncairn Avenue includes a new swale on the north side, and, installation of a subdrain and catchbasins in the boulevard.

When:      The City is planning to start the construction work in fall 2019.

Where:     Avondale Avenue and Duncairn Avenue (from Tweedsmuir Avenue to +/-150m west)

At the Public Information Session, you will be able to review the designs for the entire project. Representatives from the City, Consulting Team and the Ward Councillor will be available to discuss the project and answer your questions. Your input is an important part of the consultation process.
