Support the 5th annual Feminist Fair

Our office was very pleased to provide some financial support to the 5th annual Feminist Fair, happening this Sunday at Makerspace North. 

The fair is run by Ottawa's own Feminist Twins, Jenna and Kayla Spagnoli, fraternal twin sisters who have been working to forward intersectional feminist activities and ideas in the Ottawa region since 2014. The Feminist Fair is not your typical craft market; it provides a space for vendors and makers from the feminist and LGBTQ+ communities to ply their wares, as well as serving as a meet-up for like minded people to share ideas and information. 

The Feminist Fair is happening Sunday, November 4 from 11 am to 4 pm at Makerspace North (Bay 216, 250 City Centre Ave). Child-minding services are available on-site and the entrance fee is pay what you can, with all proceeds going to the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre. They will also be accepting donations of toiletries for STORM (Street Team Outreach Mobile) from Minwaashin Lodge. The venue can be accessed by stairs or ramp, and parking is free for the first 90 minutes. Washrooms will be gender neutral for this event.
