Dear Resident,

The City of Ottawa invites you to attend a Public Information Session to discuss a construction project planned in your neighborhood on Spencer Street from Western Avenue to Holland Avenue.

WHY:           This meeting with allow residents an opportunity to review the design plans for the entire project.  Representatives from the City, the design consultant and the Ward Councillor, Jeff Leiper, will be available to discuss the project and to answer your questions.

WHAT:         This project is being undertaken to replace ageing infrastructure in your community.  The work will include the replacement of the storm and sanitary sewers and the installation of a new watermain.  This work will also entail the construction of new sidewalks and road rehabilitation. 

WHEN:         The City is planning to commence the construction work in early summer 2016.

WHERE:       The project limits are on Spencer Street from Western Avenue to Holland Avenue.

Madame, Monsieur,

La Ville d’Ottawa vous invite à participer à une séance d’information publique en vue de discuter d’un projet de construction prévu dans votre voisinage, sur la rue Spencer entre les avenues Western et Holland.

POURQUOI : Cette réunion permettra aux résidents d’examiner les plans conceptuels de tout le projet. Des représentants de la Ville, le consultant en conception et le conseiller municipal, Jeff Leiper, seront sur place pour discuter du projet avec vous et répondre à vos questions.

QUOI :         Ce projet vise à remplacer l’infrastructure vieillissante dans votre secteur. Les travaux comprendront le remplacement des égouts pluviaux et sanitaires, ainsi que l’installation d’une nouvelle conduite d’eau principale. Ces travaux comprendront également l’aménagement de nouveaux trottoirs et le renouvellement de la chaussée.

QUAND :      La Ville prévoit lancer les travaux au début de l’été 2016.

OÙ :             Les travaux se dérouleront sur la rue Spencer, de l’avenue Western à l’avenue Holland.
