Scott Street widening update - week of November 23

We've received the following from the City about progress on the Scott Street widening and pathway construction:

Scott Street Widening update

• Paved intersection widening at all intersections west of Merton Street
• Phase 1 of the West Transitway Detour is ready, except for some signage installation, between Empress Avenue and Merton Street

Work remaining

• Construction of Multi Use Pathway #3 (north of Tom Brown Arena); started November 23^rd to be complete this week
• Asphalt overlay existing Multi Use Pathway between Smirle Avenue to Bayview Road scheduled for this week
• Final West Transitway Detour pavement markings between Smirle Avenue and Merton Street
• Final grading, topsoil, and seed between curb line and north side Scott Street Multi Use Pathway
• Signals to be commissioned at City Centre Avenue and decommissioned at Bayview crossing November 27^th
• Signals at Merton to be scheduled before winter holidays
• Street light power connections remain for Multi Use Pathway #2 (between Bayview Road and the Trillium Line) and #3 (north of Tom Brown Arena)
