Scott Street widening update - September 14

We've received the following updates on Scott Street widening and MUP construction. 

Scott St. widening update

• Rogers’ relocations completed to west limits of Scott St. widening area - see photo #81625 (between Holland and Smirle)
• Catchbasins, curb, and roadway granular are in place for the widening from Carruthers to Holland 
• Hot Mix asphalt placement (Paving) Monday, Sept. 14^th Carruthers to Holland
• By end of day tomorrow (Sept. 15^th) widening complete with exception of intersections from Bayview Road to Holland
• Widening work to begin between Holland and Smirle to start Sept. 15^th or 16^th.

MUP construction update

• The embankment and sub-grade has been constructed for MUP no. 5 – south-side of Scott St between Bayview Station pedestrian crossing and O-Train line (refer to attached photo).
• Tree and shrub clearing was completed last week to allow for construction of MUP no. 3 – south-side of Scott St. between Bayview Road and O-Train line (refer to attached photo).
• Tree and shrub clearing was completed last week to allow for construction of MUP no. 2 – sub-grade construction started – north side of Scott St. between Bayview Road and O-Train line (refer to attached photo).
