Municipal Parking Management Strategy Refresh Open House

You are here

The City is completing a review of its Municipal Parking Management Strategy (MPMS), including its mandate and rate setting guidelines.

The review will also look at opportunities to update the strategy’s funding model, which defines how paid parking program revenues are generated and where they’re spent.

As part of this process, an independent consultant will review potential governance models for the City’s paid parking program and aspects of parking management.

In addition to ongoing stakeholder consultations, the City is asking you to share your input on these core aspects of the MPMS in order to ensure the program is meeting our City’s needs.

While two open houses have already happened in other parts of the city, the closest one to Kitchissippi residents is coming up March 6. It will be at the McNabb Recreation Centre Assembly Hall at 180 Percy Street from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
