McCormick Park - Older Adult Plan improvements - construction updates

You may recall in September we showed you the concept plan for the older adult plan improvements the City will be making in McCormick Park this year. To refresh your member, feel free to check out that previous post here.

Staff have let us know that construction for these improvements will be getting underway as of July 5. They will be working on various sections of the park one at a time, so the remaining sections of  will be open as they work through the project. Every effort will be made to maintain an accessible route through the park. They will begin with the eletrical phase, then move on to pathway/landscaping work, removals, curbs, fountain work followed by asphalt work.
