OC Transpo service adjustments

This afternoon, Council received the memo below from OC Transpo management.


The purpose of this memo is to provide an update about upcoming changes to bus service. On Monday, we will be adjusting conventional bus service across the network to reflect lower customer volumes, while maintaining space for safe physical distancing for the protection of our customers and staff.

Update on novel coronavirus: speaking notes – Dr. Vera Etches

This afternoon, Dr. Etches was available to the media as part of their regular media briefings. Councillors and the public have been provided with her introductory written speaking notes, provided here. Of note is her focus on eliminating non-essential trips out of the home.

Ward Boundary Review Update

As you may be are aware, Round one of public consultation is receiving input on the City’s current ward boundaries from residents, key stakeholders and Members of Council. This consultation continues until April 3, 2020, with the following changes being implemented in consideration of the COVID-19 response:
