Letters to Santa in Kitchissippi

CALLING ALL KIDS AND PARENTS IN KITCHISSIPPI WARD

With the Canada Post strike still ongoing, there’s a chance that kids and Santa will not be able to communicate by mail in the usual way this year. Our office, in partnership with St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church here in Kitchissippi, want to make sure that kids still get a response from Santa before the big day. From the direction of Santa himself, we will have 3 drop box locations throughout Kitchissippi. Our team of elves will ensure each letter gets a personalized response with a stamp of approval from Santa, and we will return the letters by hand before Christmas.

Please note we are only able to provide responses to those living in Kitchissippi. We cannot guarantee a response to anyone outside of the Kitchissippi ward boundary. Please include your name and address as part of your letter. You can drop it off to any of the drop box locations listed below. Letters can be dropped off starting Monday December 2 up until Tuesday December 17 at the latest. Here are the drop box locations:

VOLUNTEER HELP FOR SANTA LETTERS, PLEASE

Santa is looking for elves in Kitchissippi who may want to help in writing letter responses to kids in our ward. The plan is to have the elves meet at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church on Wednesdays leading up to Christmas starting December 4 from 7pm-9pm. We will roll up our sleeves and help write the responses with the stamp of approval from Santa himself. From there, we will need elves to help us deliver the letters back to each address before Christmas. Please email jeff.leiper@ottawa.ca if you are able to assist with either writing responses, delivery, or both!
