READ Public Consultations: Round 1 this Saturday & Tuesday

Over the past few weeks, our office has been working with READ [Rosemount (library) Expansion And Development], both in promoting their advocay efforts and in helping facilitate their public consultation sessions. We connected READ with Wesley Petite, who facilitated our public consultations for the re-development of Reid Park. Wesley is now working with READ to facilitate their consultation sessions and we are excited that the first round of consultations will be getting underway this weekend. As with our Reid Park consultations, there are multiple parts to this process. There are two rounds of sessions and each has two date options for you to choose from. We hope to see you during the consultation process so you can voice how you would like to see the Rosemount Library function in the future. As noted below, childcare will be provided - thanks to Dovercourt Recreation Centre, so don't hesitate to bring your little ones!

Location: Hintonburg Community Centre, Wellington Room (1064 Wellington St West)
Dates: 
Round 1: Saturday, March 19 (11:30-2) OR Tuesday, March 22 (6:30-9) 

Round 2: Saturday, April 16 (11:30-2) OR Tuesday, April 19 (6:30-9)
The April discussion will build from March’s – come to both!
This is not your traditional drop-in consultation. Arrive on time to enjoy participating in group discussions with other library users. Child care is available.

We want to hear from YOU how to make Rosemount Library even better.

Ce n'est pas une consultation traditionnelle. Les participants seront pleinement entendus dans des discussions en petits groupes avec d’autres patrons de la bibliothèque. Nous voulons entendre tous vos points de vue pour l’amélioration de la bibliothèque. garderie disponible.
