Mahoney Park - Final Design & next steps

Thank you to all who have contributed comments and feedback for the lifecycle renewal work that will be taking place shortly at Mahoney Park. We've received the final designs from the Planner and attached them here at the bottom of this post for you to take a look at. Now that the design has been finalized, staff will be tendering the work over the next few months, moving towards a mid-May start for construction. The scope of the work should take roughly 6 weeks, and staff are anticipating a July end date. We will make sure to communicate timelines and when the park will be impacted as details are confirmed.
During the consultation process for the lifecycle renewal work at Mahoney Park, we did hear comments about other aspects or improvements residents would like to see in the park, as well as other Kitchissippi parks in general.
