LRT detour presentation and boards

Last night, around 200 residents came out to hear the City's presentation on the bus detour that will be necessary when the Transitway is converted to rail between Tunney's Pasture and the SJAM Parkway.

We are in the process of arranging a second meeting of a small working group of residents who will be most immediately affected by construction at Dominion and bus traffic on the new extension, and an initial meeting of a working group composed of the community associations and invited cycling representatives. We'll continue meeting with them throughout the planning and project, an approach that has worked well for us in the run-up to the phase 1 detour as well as in planning Cleary station.
