Hintonburg Place Project

Work will be getting underway shortly at the corner of Wellington St West and Parkdale Ave to create a beautiful, usable public space for the community. The project is a collaboration between the Wellington West BIA, the Hintonburg Community Association, Ottawa Community Housing, the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Mainstreets Revitalization Initiative. The Hintonburg Community Association has been requesting a community bullentin board at this location for a number of years. Then, in early 2018, the Wellington West BIA, with our office's support, applied for and received an Ontario Mainstreet Revitalization Initiative grant to carry out improvements to this corner. The WWBIA and HCA brought their ideas together, connected further with OCH and engaged Colizza Bruni Architecture to develop a vision for the corner.
