"As you may know, the National Capital Commission (NCC) is dedicated to creating a vital and sustainable Capital region through the strategic planning of federal lands and the careful management and stewardship of its assets, such as the Official Residences, LeBreton Flats, the Greenbelt, Gatineau Park, parkways and pathways. By taking a citizen-centred approach, the NCC works with numerous partners to make Canada’s Capital a source of pride for all Canadians.

The NCC is currently preparing the Plan for Canada’s Capital, 2017–2067, the signature planning framework that will shape the vision for the nation’s capital until Canada’s bicentennial in 2067.  We are launching an online consultation on the final stages of the process.  By gathering feedback from Canadians across the country, we hope to continue to make Canada’s Capital a source of pride for all Canadians."
