30 Railway Street - Site Plan Control Application

You are here

A Site Plan Control application to construct a three-storey, eight-unit low rise apartment dwelling at 30 Railway Street has been received by the City of Ottawa.

The subject property is located on the west side of Railway Street, to the north of the Beech Street intersection and to the south of the Young Street intersection, within the Kichissippi Ward. Residential uses surround the property on the south, west and north sides of the property. The Trillium Rail Corridor is located to the east, across the street from the property.

An application for Site Plan Control has been submitted in order to facilitate the construction of a new three-storey, eight-unit apartment low rise dwelling consisting of four one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units. The existing single family dwelling will be demolished. The proposal also includes parking spaces for eight bicycles, no vehicular parking spaces and an exterior garbage and recycling room. All units will have access to a private amenity space as well as a shared amenity space in the rear yard.

This application is live on Devapps, where you can review additional supporting documents for this application.

Our office is holding a community open house to give immediate and close neighbours the opportunity to review the details further, and ask questions from the developer and City staff.
