2070 Scott Street Development - Zoning By-Law Amendment and Site Plan Control Application Re-submission

For those following the progress of this development, the applicant has submitted new revised plans and studies. These can be viewed on Ottawa.ca/devapps HERE and are labelled with “2020-06-08”.

The applicant described the 2nd submission highlights as follows:

  • Building includes 328 Winona Avenue, and redesigned the public pathway along the rear of the building.
  • The building footprint shifted against north property line
  • Inclusion of a fourth townhouse unit along Winona Avenue
  • Podium steps back along Winona Avenue and at the south
  • Increased setback along southern pedestrian connection with 2m walkway and new fencing along 330 Winona
  • Base of the tower (6th floor) setback from the tower above  
  • Corners of tower are inset to slenderize the appearance of the tower
  • Top residential floor and MPH setback from tower
  • Retention of trees at the south property line at the intersect of 329 Churchill and 328 Winona property lines
  • Project statistics:
    • 25 floors, mechanical penthouse on 26th
    • 243 residential units, 422 m2 retail space
    • 162 vehicle parking spaces (4 floors)
    • 245 bicycle parking spaces 1:1 ratio
