1946 Scott Street re-zoning

Surface Development is proposing changes to its approved building at 1946 that are significant enough to require a re-zoning. The building is now proposed to have simpler lines with a greater setback from the rear yard, and to put the majority of parking inside the building rather than at the surface. However, the terracing has been lost, and the developer is asking for reduced setbacks on the upper floors. You can see the full proposal here, including an email for Steve Gauthier who is the lead planner for the file to whom you can send comments. I've asked the developer to speak with some stakeholders ahead of filing, and have heard neutral to favourable comments back, so will not host a public open house.
